Just because you’re out of your usual routine doesn’t mean you should miss your workout. Whether you’re cottaging or camping this summer, figure out a way to get your daily sweat in. It’ll help you feel fit and totally guilt-free while potentially indulging in a few extra calories.
Here’s the workout I did with my family this past weekend at a cottage on beautiful Georgian Bay in Ontario. Try it for yourself!
5 rounds of:
40 double unders
30 one-armed kettlebell shoulder presses (15 per arm)
20 kettlebell swings (switching hands mid-swing)
15 burpees (with full push up)
100m swim sprint
Here are a few action pics, just for fun.

My one-armed kettlebell shoulder presses. These got tough, fast.

Shea powered through his shoulder presses.

Elyse pushing through her burpees, and using an incline nonetheless!

At the top of an incline burpee.

The swim sprint! Jumping in to cool off was the best part of the workout.

A photo finish!

And, of course, our hard-earned post workout reward.
Train hard & get creative – no matter where you are.
Steph
